The Assistant Designer'due south office is to design and develop inspiring and innovative new article of furniture products to support seasonal concepts, market trends, and customer/business needs. Under the leadership of the designer and VP of design, ain the development process for each production from sketch to approval.
Essential Functions:
- Working closely with the designers, to facilitate in the design and creation of product likewise every bit manage organizational functions to support the squad in the development process.
- Develop designs from initial concept through blessing.
- Pull tears for reference for various pattern trend or market place inquiry.
- Create presentation boards.
- Manage design content and files to keep team organize
- Support with design content on smaller projects through sketching and 3D modeling.
- Complete product specifications and CADs.
- Comment on product samples.
- Coordinate samples organization for the team.
- Assist in the evolution process through daily communication with the sourcing section, vendors and agents.

- Minimum 2 year professional feel required.
- Degree in blueprint or equivalent experience.

- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Outlook are essential.
